EAST COAST SUMMER TOUR ANNOUNCED!
As many of you may have seen on our website this week, the band will be hitting the road in June for their first East Coast Tour! The tour will take us through 9 states, cover 3000+ miles, and span about 3 weeks. This is our first tour of this size and we’ll be playing in 5 new states!
To kick things off we’ll be joining our good friend Dan Walker in New Hampshire & Vermont. We’ll then head south through New York, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, & West Virginia. Our friends at New Holland Brewing Co. have also decided to join us for a couple shows in Pennsylvania where they’ll be showing off their delicious beer selection.
On June 27th the band will be returning home to play a special show at Founder’s Brewing Co. We’re making this night into our East Coast homecoming party and we’ve invited our friends BUMP to join us on the night. This will be our LAST public performance in the Grand Rapids area before our CD release in September, so make sure you don’t miss it! BUMP will be starting things off and we’ll be closing out the night with all our GR friends!

RADIO X PERFORMANCE
We’ve been talking with our friends at Radio X 96.1FM and we’re very pleased to announce another exclusive in-studio performance. Sweet Japonic will be performing live on air on 96.1 FM prior to heading out on our East Coast tour! Our in-studio performance will include at interview with Drew from Radio X and exclusive performances of some new tunes. We know that the performance will take place during the first week of June, but we have not set the exact date. We’ll have all the necessary information available on our website, as well as facebook, myspace, etc within the next few days!
SUMMER FESTIVALS
This summer we’ll be making stops at a few new festivals. We’ve decided to take a good portion of our summer to travel into new areas and play new venues, but luckily we’ve made some time to play some festivals as well. We’ll be starting out with Tuliptime Festival in Holland, MI on May 9th. Bless You Boys will be opening the night and we’ll be hitting the stage at 7:15 PM. In July we’ll be playing at Skinkfest in Bainbridge, OH over the weekend of July 17-19 and at National Baby Food Festival on July 23rd. We’ll also be performing at Marietta Brewing Co’s Summer Music Fest over the weekend of August 13-15.
NEW ALBUM UPDATE
After an all night writing and recording session last week, we’ve added some new songs to the list for the new album. We’re very pleased with the progress of the album so far and we’ve been feeling all our new tunes out at shows. Be sure to head to an upcoming show to hear some of the new material. We are still moving forward with our plans to release the album this September and we’ll have more announcements regarding the release coming early Summer.

We’d like to give a belated thank you to everyone who submitted art and designs for t shirts at the beginning of the year. We received quite a few different designs and we’re very pleased with the final designs we’re currently using.
